What about insurance?
Badgerland RV Rental INC. provides the State of Wisconsin minimums for insurance coverage. Additional rental insurance must be provided by renter and a copy of the policy shown when the vehicle is picked up. Many automotive insurance carriers can provide a rider to your current automotive policy to cover the rental of an RV. Rental Insurance is available through; www.mbachoice.com at $15.00 per day for a Class C rental and $25 a day for Class A Rentals, plus a one time processing fee of $10.00. Renter needs to go to mba choice and insert dealer number 6880 and follow instructions on screen. Renter Must choose level 3 insurance coverage for a Class A rental.

Is there a minimum amount of time that we have to rent?
For a Class C rental during the high season from May 1- Sept 30 there is a minimum of 7 days. During our low season from Sept 30 – May 1 there is a 3 day minimum rental. Class A Rental rates are the same year round.

Is mileage included in the rental cost?
No there are no miles included with the rental. The cost of mileage is .29 cents per mile for Class C rental and .33 cents per mile for a Class A rental.

What deposit is required?
Upon confirmation a $500 deposit is required for a Class C rental or a $1000 deposit is requires for a Class A rental to hold your reservation. The deposit can be made by check, VISA or Mastercard. Upon return, any extra charges will be balanced against the deposit, and the remainder will be refunded.

Is there a charge for the generator?
No, most other RV rental services will charge you for the rental by the hour but our prices include the use of the generator.

What kind of gas mileage will we get?
Mileage depends on several factors such as your speed, terrain, winds, and vehicle weight. You can expect to average anywhere between 8 and 12 miles per gallon for a Class C rental and between 6 and 9 miles per gallon for a Class A rental.

Do I need a special driver’s license to drive a motorhome?
No, all you need is to be at least 25 years of age or older and possess a valid drivers license. No special endorsement is needed. Badgerland RV Rental INC. will run drivers license check on each driver at the time of the reservation to verify that all drivers are valid. Badgerland RV Rental INC. does reserve the right to refuse rental to anyone if they do not have a valid driver’s license or an extensive driving record.

Is it difficult to drive a motorhome?
Motorhomes, handle much like a car especially the class “C” which has a van chassis. A Class Motorhome requires wider turns, however is very easy to drive on the open road.

Besides the rental cost are there any other charges I will incur?
There is tax on the rental charges. You will also have to pay for any extra mileage at the end of the rental if you go over. There is a fee charged if the RV is not returned full of fuel, tanks dumped, and the unit cleaned. There is also an additional fee for late returns.

Does the motorhome come with a TV, VCR,DVD, cable TV, or a stereo?
Your Class C rental comes with a 19” color TV, VCR,DVD, AM/FM stereo, and cable television hookup. Your Class A rental comes with 2 slideouts, 27" Color TV, 20" Color TV, VCR/DVD Player, Surround Sound, Cable TV, Microwave/ Convection Oven, Leather Seats, Sleep Number Bed, and lots of storage. All features are included in our base price, unlike other rental agencies that may charge you for them.

Are there roll out awnings on the motorhome?
Yes, there is an 18' roll out awning included with the base price on the Class C rental and a Electric awning on the Class A Rental..

Are pets allowed in the motorhome?
No, pets are not allowed.

Is smoking allowed in the motorhome?
No, for all customers’ satisfaction smoking is not allowed in the motorhome.

Is there a limit to how many people can ride in the motorhome?
There are seatbelts to accommodate a family of seven in the Class C rental and eight people in a Class A rental. Seatbelts are required and we do not recommend exceeding the maximum capacity as posted in the actual vehicle you will be using.

Can I park my car at your rental center while I travel?
Yes, space is limited so please call in advance to make these arrangements.

Are we allowed to travel into Mexico?
No, travel into Mexico is prohibited.

How do I pay for the rental?
All payments can be made by cash, cashiers check, travelers check, money order, personal check, VISA, Mastercard when approved.

Can we tow my car or boat behind the motorhome?
We do allow the towing of boats as long as the maximum tongue weight of 200 lb. And a maximum gross weight of 2500 pounds is not exceeded. We do not allow cars to be towed behind the motorhome.

Is it possible to rent an RV in the winter?
Yes, our motorhomes have heated tanks and storage areas. Travel is restricted to warmer climates only and will be decided on a case by case basis. In some cases you may need to pour antifreeze in the holding tanks to avoid freezing. Repairs can be very costly if the tanks or pipes are damaged so extreme care is needed if traveling through a colder climate.

What if I return the motorhome before the date is due?
No refunds will be made for early returns, late pickups or unused mileage. Once the Vehicle has been picked up the renter is responsible for the full rental fee plus milage.

What if I am involved in an accident?
You must notify Badgerland RV Rental INC. within 24 hours of an accident and make a full report in writing as well as a police report.

What if the motorhome breaks down?
We will reimburse renter for all necessary repairs not caused directly or indirectly by misuse, carelessness, or negligence of the renter. Repairs over $75 must have prior approval.

Are there bike racks?
Yes, A bike rack that holds four bikes is included upon your request. There is no extra fee and this is included in our base price.

What if I have to cancel my reservation?
Cancellation prior to 30 days will receive a half deposit refund. Any cancellation within 30 days of rental will forfeit the entire deposit plus mileage.
