Rental Terms and Conditions Agreement
Thank you for choosing to rent from Badgerland RV Rental INC. We would like your rental vacation to be a pleasurable experience. In order to make sure you receive your unit on time and in good condition, the following must be strictly adhered to. If the person renting the vehicle before you follows these Terms and Conditions, you will receive your rental vehicle on time, in good condition and clean. Therefore, we ask you to be just as considerate to the renter who will rent the same vehicle after you.
   
PICK-UP TIME: Rental vehicles must be picked up between 10:00am and Noon. *NO LATER UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH BADGERLAND RV RENTAL. THE PERSON WHO RENTED THE VEHICLE MUST BE PRESENT TO SIGN ALL DOCUMENTS RETURN TIME: Vehicle check-in time is between 8:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M. Prompt. The vehicle must be serviced and prepared for the next renter.
LATE RETURNS & LATE CHARGES: A LATE CHARGE OF $20 PER HALF HOUR WILL BE CHARGED FOR LATE RETURNS AFTER 10:OOAM. AFTER FOUR HOURS LATE, renter will forfeit the entire security deposit. Renter will also be responsible to reimburse Badgerland RV Rental INC for all lost rental income if the next renter cancels because of late return. Be considerate of the next renter. Returning late will not only be expensive; it will ruin the next renter's vacation. Breakdown just prior to return that we can verify will not be charged. ACCIDENT PROCEDURE: If you are involved in an accident, or the vehicle was hit by a "Hit and Run" driver, the following steps must be taken: 1. If extensive damage has been done, please call and notify our company so we may take the proper steps to repair the vehicle when it returns. 2. An Accident Report with the local authorities must be made, and a copy made available to us. 3. It is very important to get the Police Officers name's, City, Police Precinct, report number and telephone number of the respective agency.
NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS: No more THAN SEVEN (7) PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED. All passengers must wear seatbelts while vehicle is in motion. DRIVERS: All drivers must be 25 years of age or older. Only the drivers authorized in advance may drive the vehicle. Drivers must follow all highway safety laws, speed limits, etc. and drive only when alert and well rested. Drivers and passengers cannot drink or have any open bottles, cans of beer or liquor when vehicle is in motion.
SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED: Smoking in Rental Units is NOT ALLOWED. Renter will forfeit entire security deposit if evidence of smoking is found in Rental Unit. PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED: Pets are NOT ALLOWED. Renter will forfeit entire security deposit if evidence of pets is found in rental unit.
VANDALISM: Any break-ins or vandalism must be reported to the local Police Department. No insurance claims can be made without a copy of the Police Report. PAYMENT: Entire rental balance including mileage must be paid at time of pick up. Final Payment must be made in cash, travelers check, or personal check we can verify. VISA & Mastercard are accepted.
MILEAGE: All miles are at the rate of .29 cents per mile. There are no miles included. CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation prior to 30 days will receive a half deposit refund. Any cancellation within 30 days of rental will forfeit the entire deposit, Including the cost of milage for the rental.
EARLY RETURN: No credit shall be given for unused rental period. Renter shall be responsible for the full cost of rental per reservation agreement plus mileage. DAMAGE: Proper repairs require that fiberglass panels be replaced, therefore a small dent is costly, Damaged panels cost $800 and up.
INSURANCE: Rentals are covered for $25,000 per person bodily injury, $50,000 all person's bodily injury and $ 10,000 property damage. Renter is responsible for providing a supplemental insurance policy. A supplemental policy can be provided by your automotive insurance carrier of by going to www.mbachoice.com and putting in the dealer code 6880. Proof of a supplemental policy must be provided when the RV is picked up. NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE: Personal property damages caused by insufficient overhead or undercarriage clearance. Example: but not limited to the damage to roof or above the windshield caused by the collision with low bridge, low overhangs or low tree limbs, etc. IMPORTANT: VEHICLE REQUIRES 13 FEET CLEARANCE. Second Example: but not limited to damage caused by driving over a foreign object. Also not covered: cracked or broken windshield, personal property damaged or stolen. Renter is 100% responsible for the above.
FLOOR PLAN AND AVAILABILITY: Badgerland RV Rental INC. reserves the right to substitute an equal or superior Motor Home at no additional charge. Renter agrees that in the event Badgerland RV Rental INC. can not make the vehicle available to the renter for any reason, Badgerland RV Rental INC. is only responsible to refund all deposits paid by renter. RENTERS MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY: Renter will periodically examine the vehicle including the tire conditions and pressures, and maintain the prescribed pressure. When refueling renter must check the oil and maintain it at a full level. Badgerland RV Rental INC. will pay for oil used with proper receipts. If engine oil level on return to Badgerland is more than one quart low, renter will forfeit the entire security deposit and shall be responsible for the costs of engine repair if necessary.
PARKING TICKETS: Badgerland RV Rental INC. will not pay any unpaid tickets. Badgerland is obligated by law to turn over to the issuing Police Department the name and license number of the renter. Please pay any traffic tickets immediately before leaving that area. Unpaid tickets will double and triple and also can prohibit cause the suspension of renter's drivers license, and auto registration. ABANDONED VEHICLE: If the vehicle is not returned to Badgerland RV Rental INC., renter will forfeit the entire security deposit. Renter will be responsible for all costs incurred from returning vehicle to Badgerland, plus all lost rental income. All costs incurred by Badgerland in providing the next renter an alternative vehicle, and all repairs to restore vehicle to its original condition.
THEFT OF VEHICLE: Please keep the vehicle locked. If the vehicle is stolen renter is responsible for any insurance deductible TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS: All occupants must use belts while vehicle is in motion. Walking about while vehicle is in motion is dangerous and is prohibited.

RETURNED CONDITIONS: The interior of the unit must be cleaned and vacuumed. Counter and table tops, bathroom and bathroom sink, stovetop and grates, inside oven, and refrigerator interior etc. A $50 minimum will be charged for units returned with interior not cleaned. The exterior of the vehicle must be washed prior to return. A $50 will be charged for vehicles not washed.

HOLDING TANK: Both Holding tanks must be returned completely empty. $50 will be charged for tanks not completely empty.

GASOLINE/ PROPANE TANKS: The gas tank and propane tanks will be filled at the time of pick-up. The vehicle must be returned with the gas tank and propane tank filled. Units returned with gasoline tank empty or partially filled will be charged at the current gasoline price, plus a $15 service charge to drive vehicle to and from gas station. Units returned with propane tank empty or partially filled will be charged at the current propane price, plus a $15 service charge to drive vehicle to and from gas station. Please return both tanks full. Badgerland RV Rental INC. makes no guarantee of fuel consumption. Any estimate given should be used as a general idea, as consumption varies with driving conditions and drivers.
ON ROAD REPAIRS: Badgerland RV Rental INC. will reimburse renter for all necessary repairs to the vehicle during the term of this agreement that are not caused directly or indirectly by the misuse, carelessness or negligence of the renter. Tender must phone and report any failure of the unit’s chassis or appliances etc. If repairs are necessary, any repairs under $75 may be done without prior authorization. For repairs over $75, renter must call for authorization prior to having work done. Authorized repair charges will be reimbursed at the end of the rental, only upon presentation of repair bill. FORD CHASSIS REPAIRS: All Ford chassis and engine related repairs over $75 must be performed at a Ford Dealership under warranty. Please call us and we would prefer to arrange an expeditious appointment. If you are unable to reach us, call Ford’s Emergency Hot Line at 1-800-241-3673. If phone number has changed, call information at 800-555-1212 for the number. REGARDING SECURITY DEPOSIT: If you are involved in an accident with another party, the security deposit will be held until the insurance company determines you are not responsible for the accident. If the insurance company determines that you are not responsible for the accident, you will be reimbursed any deductible at the time the other insurance company pays the claim. If the insurance company determines you are responsible no reimbursement for the cost of the deductible will be made. Lessor reserves the right to increase the security deposit.
BREAKDOWNS: In the event of a major breakdown, Badgerland RV Rental INC's only liability shall be to reimburse renter for authorized repairs and lost days rented. Renter is responsible to wait for repairs to be completed, and to return the vehicle to Badgerland RV Rental INC. No reimbursement will be made for hotel, car rental and meals DEAD BATTERIES: Because batteries are used to light the RV when there is no electrical hook up, it is the renters responsibility to keep the batteries charged, as explained in written instructions. Badgerland will not reimburse for the boosting of dead batteries
FLAT TIRES: For your safety we insist that you have a garage change a flat tire. We will pay for tire changes. Renter is responsible for replacement costs of tires damaged by driving over sharp objects. TOWING: Towing of a boat is permitted as long as the tongue weight does not exceed 200 lbs. and gross weight does not exceed 2500 lbs. Towing of automobiles is not permitted.
   
CONTROVERSIES OR CLAIMS: It is agreed that any controversy or claim arising out of or in relation to this agreement, or a breach of this agreement, shall be settled by binding arbitration before and according to provisions of the State of Wisconsin Department of Consumer Protection, and any judgment upon the reward rendered may be entered in any court having jurisdiction in Wisconsin. Whatever party brings dispute to the Wisconsin Department of Consumer Protection it will be at their sole cost and expense.
